* Please allow 1- 2 cm tolerance with measurements

1. Measure your chest

With good posture, wrap a measuring tape under your arms around your back and take the measurement at fullest part of your chest. Be sure to keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

2. Measure your waist

Our waist can be a difficult area to measure! The natural waistline is halfway between the lowest rib you can feel and the top, outside edge of the hip bone. One trick might help you find this spot are to stand up straight and tilt over. Where your torso creases is where your waistline is.

3. Measure your Hips

Stand with your feet together and wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. Ensure the tape is snug but not too tight, and keep it parallel to the floor for an accurate measurement.

The crossover waistband gives a really cinched waist without shapewear. And the invisible zipper is a nice touch — keeps the silhouette smooth.

Color is even more vibrant in sunlight. I paired it with gold accessories and felt like I was straight out of a movie premiere.

It’s a solid dress but the arm ruffles were a bit too bold for my taste once I tried it on. Still high quality, just not my vibe.
    Ruby Y
Dress looked exactly like it did online. Soft structure at the bust gave support without a bra, which was perfect for me.
    Lauren G
Just wow. I wore this to my anniversary dinner and my husband could not take his eyes off me. It’s that kind of dress.
    Bella N
Pros: amazing color, flattering fit, great detailing. Cons: the zipper was a bit tricky to handle solo, but manageable.
    Zoe C
I was worried pleats would make me look wider, but this one's vertical flow actually elongated my body. Total win.

This dress made me stand out at my company’s gala. It’s elegant but still has a playful side with the ruffles and open back.

If you’re curvy like me, don’t even hesitate. The way the cutouts hit at the waist actually made me look more snatched. Loved the built-in cups too.

I’m a bridesmaid and our theme was jewel tones—this wine shade is even prettier in person. Plus everyone wore gold, it matched perfectly.

I'm 5'7" and usually dresses are too short, but this one hit right at the floor with heels. The fit was so flattering and it moved so well.

Wore this to a fall gala and felt so on trend. The color screams luxury and it drapes beautifully. I got asked if it was designer.

Got this for my engagement photos and couldn’t be happier. The fabric looks super luxe and the way the pleats catch the light? Stunning.
    Jenna R
Honestly obsessed with the back design. The crisscross ties adjust perfectly, and it gave me the confidence to go braless. Game changer.
    Mia K
I was a little nervous about the color, but wine is so flattering on medium skin tones! The fabric pleats hold well and don’t wrinkle. Major bonus!

Loved the open lace-up back — it felt secure but still super sexy. The side cutouts added a fun modern twist without feeling too revealing.

The ruffle construction doesn't restrict arm movement at all — I raised my arms to hug friends, reached for drinks, even waved across the room, all without feeling any pull or tightness at the shoulders. The rosettes are positioned on top of the shoulder rather than around the armhole, which gives full range of motion underneath. One small note: raising both arms fully overhead does cause the deep V to open wider, so just be aware if you plan on doing anything with arms above your head.

I have been to probably fifteen formal events in the past two years and I am telling you no other dress in any room has come close to this. The combination of sculptural rosette shoulders with a fully pleated floor-length skirt is a design choice I have literally never seen replicated. Every other dress at the engagement party was a slip dress or a bodycon or a basic A-line. This exists in its own category. If you want to be the only person wearing something truly original, this is it.

Dress arrived with the pleats slightly compressed from shipping, which initially concerned me. Hung it on a padded hanger for 24 hours and every single fold fell back into its original crisp formation. The accordion pleating has genuine memory — it wants to return to shape. The shoulder rosettes also needed a gentle fluffing to regain their full volume. Patience after delivery is required but no permanent damage occurred. Just don't panic when you first open the box.

My entire friend group was getting ready at my flat and when I walked out of the bathroom in this dress someone literally pretended to faint on the sofa. Full dramatic collapse. Then everyone started screaming. The shoulder ruffles and the pleated skirt together create a level of drama that you just cannot prepare people for. The wine satin caught the bathroom light and they all went silent before the screaming started. That five seconds of silence is the highest compliment I've ever received.

Practical undergarment report: seamless nude thong and silicone petal nipple covers. That's the winning combination. The satin is smooth enough that any visible panty line, bra strap, or elastic edge shows immediately — and I mean immediately. The side cutouts expose skin right at the hip so even a low-rise brief peeks out. The deep V and the open back eliminate every standard bra option. Plan your undergarments before the dress even arrives. Once you solve that equation, the silhouette is flawless.

When I first put this on I noticed something I can only describe as the smell of new satin — faintly cool, faintly clean, like unwrapping something precious. Then the fabric hit my skin and it was this smooth glide that felt nothing like getting dressed and everything like a ritual. The weight settled on my shoulders from the ruffles and the pleats swung into place and there was this moment of quiet ceremony before I even left the house. This dress makes getting ready feel important.

Stood for a three-hour concert in this dress and the satin remained smooth and unwrinkled the entire time — no bunching at the waist, no riding up at the hem, no twisting. The accordion pleats seem to have a natural memory that keeps everything hanging straight. My only challenge was that keeping the hem off the floor required heels the entire time, which after three hours standing was tough on my feet. The dress performed perfectly — my shoes were the weak link.

I never realized how much the wrap waistband was doing until I saw the photos from the event three days later. In the mirror it looked great. In photos? That crossover creates this insane hourglass illusion that made my 32-inch waist look like 26 inches. The diagonal line of the wrap and the way the satin catches shadow at the fold sculpts a shape that I genuinely do not have in real life. If you're buying this for a photographed event, the waist is the secret weapon.

I intentionally wore zero jewelry with this dress — no earrings, no bracelet, no necklace. The ruffled rosette shoulders provided all the visual interest I needed around my face and neckline, and the pleated skirt handled everything below. It felt liberating to let the dress be the entire look. One less thing to coordinate, nothing to worry about losing. If you're someone who overthinks accessories, just skip them. This dress doesn't need help.

Under the cool, diffused lighting of the museum the wine deepened to something closer to a deep burgundy. The satin surface caught each individual spotlight along the gallery walls and reflected it back in these subtle warm pulses. I was standing in front of a Rothko and my husband said the dress was giving the painting competition. Museum lighting and this fabric were made for each other.

Three songs into the DJ's set and I was already on the dance floor testing this dress. The satin pleats made this gorgeous swishing sound against my ankles every time I moved — like the dress was keeping its own beat. I danced soca, dancehall, everything, and the skirt just flowed with every single movement. Not once did I step on the hem or feel restricted. A dress that can handle a Caribbean reception dance floor is a dress that can handle anything.

A lovely dress that I genuinely admired on the hanger and in photos. On my body at size 16, though, the side cutouts created an unflattering emphasis on my midsection. The openings are positioned at a width that works beautifully on a smaller frame but on mine they stretched wider than intended and the satin pulled across my stomach above the cutout line. I could see this being absolutely perfect on a size 4-10. At my size it just wasn't the right silhouette. Returned with regret because the pleating and shoulders are truly special.

The lace-up back is doing something I was not prepared for. My date saw the front of the dress and said I looked great. Normal compliment. Then I turned to walk to the car and he went completely silent. I looked over my shoulder and he was just standing there staring at the criss-cross ties over my bare back with his mouth slightly open. This dress understands the power of a reveal. The front is beautiful but the back is where it becomes unforgettable.

Posted ONE photo from the fundraiser and woke up to 47 DMs. Forty-seven. Everyone asking for the link, the brand name, the color name, whether it runs true to size. The wine reads so much richer and more dimensional in photos than I expected — every comment mentioned the color first. I've become a walking advertisement and I don't even mind.

Took this to a professional dry cleaner after its first event and the results were excellent. Every pleat came back crisp and defined. The satin sheen was undiminished. The rosette shoulders retained their sculptural volume. The lace-up ties showed no fraying. Whatever this fabric is, it responds well to professional care. For anyone hesitant about maintaining pleated satin — just invest in a good cleaner and this dress will last.

Paired this with gold platform heels and nothing else — no necklace, no bracelet, just the dress and the shoes. The wine and gold combination is so luxuriously rich that it looked like a complete editorial look with zero effort. The warm undertone in the satin seems to absorb and reflect gold light. If you're the kind of person who likes to keep accessories minimal, this dress does all the heavy lifting on its own.

At 47 I wasn't sure this dress was for me. The cutouts, the plunging neckline — it reads younger on the website. But my daughter convinced me and honestly? The floor-length pleated skirt provides so much elegant coverage that it balances the more daring elements. I felt put-together, not exposed. The wine color helped too — it's inherently sophisticated. Received more compliments at my stepdaughter's wedding than I have at any event in recent memory. Would I choose it again? Absolutely.

I work in fashion photography and I'm telling you this dress is a dream to shoot. The photographer asked me to turn ninety degrees between each frame because the pleats fall differently from every angle — front-on they're a clean vertical cascade, from the side they fan into these sweeping curves, from behind you get the lace-up drama. Every single shot from the red carpet came out looking editorial. If you care about how you photograph, this is the one.

At midnight the DJ dropped the countdown and the disco lights hit this dress and every single pleat turned into a ripple of shimmering wine. I have never experienced a dress react to light like that. The accordion folds catch and release reflections in a way that makes the whole skirt look alive. If your event has any kind of dramatic lighting — chandeliers, candles, a disco ball — this dress will steal the show without you doing a thing.

I'm 5'1 and 108 pounds so proportions are always a gamble with dramatic dresses. The skirt pooled about four inches on the floor even in my highest heels, and the rosette shoulder ruffles looked slightly oversized relative to my narrow frame. I had it hemmed and the proportions improved significantly, but petite buyers should absolutely budget for alterations. The pleating makes hemming more complex than a standard dress. Once altered though — the fit was beautiful and worth the extra investment.

Everyone assumes the lace-up back requires a second person but I managed it solo using my bathroom mirror and a hand mirror angled behind me. The criss-cross pattern is intuitive once you see it — the ties are long enough to pull around to the front while you thread them, then you reach behind to snug the bow. Took me maybe four minutes the first time. The adjustability is the entire reason the fit is so perfect. Having control over exactly how tight the bodice sits changed everything.

Wore this to a racing day event and I have to be honest about the one major issue: floor-length satin on outdoor grass does not work. My heels sank into the turf and the hem dragged through damp grass for the entire afternoon. The pleats along the bottom were stained and crushed by the end of the day. This is an absolutely gorgeous dress but it needs a hard, clean floor. If your event is outdoors on any soft surface, reconsider or budget for serious cleaning after. The dress itself is stunning — just not built for the elements.

I walked past a restaurant window and stopped dead in my tracks because I genuinely did not recognize myself for a second. The wine satin was catching the light and the cutouts were framing my waist in this way that made my silhouette look sculpted. I have never in my life done a double take at my own reflection. Those cutouts are not just design — they're strategic. They create a waistline that doesn't exist in my regular clothes.

For context I attend a lot of South Asian events where floor seating is common. Sat cross-legged on cushions during a mehendi and the pleated volume was actually surprisingly accommodating — there's so much fabric in the accordion folds that it fans out around you naturally. I did have to tuck the hem under my ankles to keep it neat. It works, it just requires a moment of arrangement. Not every maxi would survive floor seating this gracefully.

Inspected the construction carefully before wearing. The invisible zipper track aligns precisely with the pleating on the left side — no puckering or pulling. Interior seams are finished cleanly with no raw edges. The crossover waistband seam is faintly visible at extremely close range but completely invisible at any normal viewing distance. The rosette shoulders are securely attached with reinforced stitching. Solid workmanship throughout.

The sculptural shoulder ruffles gave me the same statement presence I usually get from wearing a gele headwrap — bold, architectural, eye-catching. I decided to skip the gele entirely and let the shoulders speak for themselves, which simplified my whole look. One small thing: I noticed a loose thread on the inner edge of the left ruffle after one wear. It didn't affect the shape or the look from outside, but it's worth a quick inspection before your event.

I walked through the double doors of the venue and a TABLE OF PEOPLE I HAVE NEVER MET started clapping. Clapping! The shoulder ruffles caught the overhead light and I guess the whole entrance just looked dramatic enough to warrant applause from complete strangers. I have never in my life had that experience and I am still buzzing about it three days later. Those rosette ruffles are not just a detail, they are an EVENT.

Pulled the dress out of the box and before I even held it up I ran my fingers across the pleats. Cool to the touch. Heavy. Smooth in a way that felt expensive. The satin has this density that you don't expect from online shopping — it doesn't feel like a screen purchase, it feels like something you'd pick up in a boutique and immediately know was worth the price. That first touch told me everything.

I appreciate the craftsmanship enormously — the pleating is precise, the satin has lovely weight, the invisible zipper is smooth, and the shoulder rosettes are genuinely impressive. However, when I consider the deep V, the side cutouts, and the fully open lace-up back together, the collective skin exposure was more than I anticipated for a formal family event. Each element in isolation is tasteful. Together they shifted the tone younger than I needed at 50. The dress is beautifully made and I'd recommend it without hesitation to someone in their twenties or thirties.

So the deep V is real. I'm a 34C and knew immediately I couldn't go braless without some help. Invested in a good adhesive bra and it solved the problem completely — the neckline stayed dramatic but secure, nothing shifted during dinner or dancing. If you're worried about the plunge, a stick-on bra is the answer. Don't let the neckline scare you away from this dress because with the right solution underneath it's completely wearable. The rest of the dress is so stunning it's worth the extra step.

The wine color on my deep brown skin looked like VELVET. Not satin, not silk — velvet. Something about how the light hit the pleated satin against my complexion gave it this incredibly rich, dense quality. I was standing in the ceremony lineup and I heard at least three people whisper "stunning" and I know for a fact they were looking at me because I was the only one in wine. This color on dark skin is a cheat code.

I'm between a small and a medium and normally that means gambling on which size to order. The lace-up back on this dress eliminates that problem entirely — I ordered the medium and tightened the criss-cross ties until the bodice sat flush against my ribcage. The fit felt custom. My one note is that the size chart doesn't reflect actual body measurements particularly well, so I'd recommend sizing up and relying on the ties to bring it in. The adjustability is genuinely functional, not decorative.

What you're paying for here is drape. The satin has enough weight that it falls in a clean vertical line from the waistband without any of that cheap floating-away quality you get from lighter fabrics. Each pleat hangs under its own gravity and swings back to center after movement. That weight is also what gives the crossover waist its structure — the wrap stays put because the fabric is heavy enough to hold tension. This is a dress that understands fabric physics.

My fiance is not a crier. This man has watched every sad movie known to humanity completely dry-eyed. But when I walked out of our bedroom in this dress for our engagement party he teared up. Actually teared up. The wine satin hugged my waist through the crossover wrap and then those pleats just cascaded down and the shoulder ruffles framed my face and I looked at myself through his eyes and understood exactly why. I'm wearing white at the wedding but this wine dress is the one I'll remember forever.

I really wanted to keep this dress. The quality is undeniable — the pleating is precise, the satin has a beautiful weight, the shoulder construction is impressive. But the side cutouts showed significantly more of my midsection than I was comfortable with. I have a wider torso and the cutout openings seemed to emphasize that. I think someone with a narrower frame would look incredible. I returned it with genuine reluctance because every other element of this dress is excellent.

I was just a guest at my college friend's wedding but honestly this dress made me stand out more than half the bridal party. Not in a stealing-the-show way just in a people-kept-coming-up-to-me way. The combination of the shoulder ruffles and the pleated skirt together creates this level of visual interest that you just don't see in standard wedding guest dresses. My friend the bride actually told me she was glad someone dressed up properly. Best compliment ever.

Absolutely stunning dress but plan your outerwear situation carefully. The open lace-up back, the side cutouts, and especially the sculptural shoulder ruffles mean you can't just throw on any jacket or coat. I ended up carefully draping a silk wrap over my shoulders but it kept slipping off the ruffles. If your event involves any outdoor time in cold weather, think through this in advance. The dress itself is a ten out of ten.

Wore my heavy gold jhumkas and stacked gold bangles and the wine set them off in a way I've never achieved with any other dress color. It's like the warmth of the wine amplifies gold. The satin picks up the gold reflection too, so there's this overall warm glow happening. If you wear a lot of gold jewelry this is genuinely the ideal dress color. Wore it to a sangeet and it held its own next to all the embroidered lehengas.

This is the third event I've worn this dress to and the pleats are still as crisp and defined as the day it arrived. No sagging, no loosening, no distortion even after careful hand washing. The ruffled shoulders still hold their sculptural shape. The invisible zipper still moves smoothly. For the price, the construction longevity is genuinely impressive. This is a dress that earns its cost-per-wear over time.

The pleated bodice maintained its structure well during a two-hour seated opera performance — no awkward bunching or collapsing. The vertical pleats sort of compress and release naturally as you breathe and move, which keeps everything looking neat. One note: when I leaned forward to check my phone the deep V did open a bit wider than when standing, so I'd keep that in mind if you'll be seated at a dinner table. Not dramatic, just something to be aware of.

There's a subtle swishing sound when the accordion pleats brush against each other as you walk — this soft, rhythmic whisper of satin on satin. It's barely audible to anyone else but you feel it and hear it and it adds to this sense of occasion. One practical note: I wish the inner lining extended further down the skirt. It ends around mid-thigh, so below that you can feel the bare pleats against your legs. Not uncomfortable, just a design choice worth knowing about.

Something I haven't seen anyone mention — the side cutouts are placed exactly at the narrowest part of the waist, which means from a side profile the dress creates this incredible silhouette that you just don't get from a standard unbroken maxi. There's a visible waist indent that makes the whole shape so much more dynamic. Front-on it's beautiful, but from the side is where the design really earns its keep.

I wore this for our vow renewal and the wrap waistband gave it an almost bridal quality — that gathered, cinched structure that feels ceremonial without being white. The satin sheen added to the formality. My one small wish is that the crossover portion of the wrap were slightly wider to cover a bit more of the midsection transition between bodice and skirt. It's a minor proportion thing but I noticed it in photos. Still, it was perfect for the occasion.

Even the unboxing was an experience. It arrived in this sturdy branded box, not a plastic mailer, and when I lifted the lid the dress was folded carefully with tissue. Pulled it out and there wasn't a single crease in the pleats. That attention to packaging tells you something about how the brand treats this product. The dress itself lived up to the presentation. Felt like a gift to myself.

The satin is smooth and pleasant against the skin but I should note that it doesn't breathe exceptionally well in warm conditions. The cutouts at the sides help with airflow, which is a nice design feature, but the areas where the fabric sits close to the body — the wrapped waist, the pleated bodice — did get warm during a midsummer evening event. Something to consider if your venue isn't air-conditioned. The dress is beautiful regardless.

I have been to TEN weddings in the last year and a half and not a single person at any of them was wearing anything even remotely similar to this dress. The shoulder ruffles are so unique. Everyone kept touching them asking if they were real, like they couldn't believe the construction. In a sea of slip dresses and basic maxis this one genuinely stands alone.

The pleats were pristine when I first put the dress on and held up beautifully for most of the evening. By the end of the night — roughly five hours — the very bottom section of the skirt where the pleats had been dragging slightly on the floor had softened and lost some of their crisp definition. It's a minor issue that most people wouldn't notice, but if you're particular about maintaining that sharp accordion look all night, consider a slightly shorter heel to lift the hem off the ground.

I'm 5'6 and wore this with 3-inch gold platform heels. The hem just barely grazed the floor which created that perfect red-carpet sweep. Without heels it pools about two inches on the ground, so unless you're 5'9+ you'll want at least a low heel or be prepared to get it hemmed. The pleating makes hemming tricky though so I'd recommend just finding the right shoe height.

EVERY SINGLE PHOTO from the event came out incredible. The pleats catch light in this way that makes every picture look professionally lit even when it's just someone's iPhone. My skin was glowing, the wine was glowing, the satin was glowing. Already posted three and the likes are out of control. If you care about how a dress photographs this is literally the one.

I'm 46 and was hesitant about the cutouts and the deep neckline but decided to take the risk. Honestly? It works. The cutouts are relatively small and positioned high at the waist, and the full-length pleated skirt provides so much coverage and elegance that the overall effect is balanced — sensual but not inappropriate. The lace-up back let me adjust the fit precisely. My son's wedding photos look beautiful.

The wine with gold accessories is a MOMENT. I wore gold drop earrings, stacked gold bangles, and a gold clutch and the whole look was so cohesive it genuinely looked like I paid a stylist. The warm undertone of the wine just drinks up gold. If you're wondering what to pair with it — gold everything. Don't overthink it. It looks expensive.

That crossover wrap at the waist SNATCHED me. I'm not exaggerating when I say I looked in the mirror and almost cried. I have a short torso and a soft midsection and the way the satin wraps and cinches right at the narrowest point created this hourglass shape I did not know I had. The pleated skirt then flows out from there and hides everything below. It's genuinely the most flattering dress I've ever worn. I'm emotional about it.

The dress is genuinely beautiful and I can see why it's popular. My concern is purely practical: the satin and the precision pleating clearly demand careful handling. This is a dry-clean-only piece, possibly hand wash at best. The shoulder ruffles alone would be destroyed in a machine. If you're comfortable with that maintenance commitment for a special occasion dress, it's a worthwhile investment. Just don't expect to toss it in the laundry.

Wore this to an outdoor garden reception at four in the afternoon and I cannot overstate how stunning the satin looked catching the natural light. The wine just glowed — warm, rich, alive. Every time I moved the pleats would catch and release the sunlight differently. My sister-in-law who is a photographer said it was one of the most photogenic dresses she's ever shot. If your event is outdoors, this is the dress.

Worth noting that the color reads slightly warmer and more coppery in person than the product photos suggest. On screen it looked like a cool-toned wine, but in certain light it picks up these amber undertones that push it toward a warm terracotta-wine. Still a gorgeous shade and arguably more interesting, but if you're trying to match specific cool-toned accessories you may want to account for that. I ended up pairing it with gold and it worked beautifully.

I've owned several pleated maxi dresses and they all had basic cap sleeves or spaghetti straps. The sculptural shoulder ruffles on this one are what set it apart entirely. They're substantial — layered satin petals that hold their shape without looking stiff or costumey. They add drama to the silhouette without overwhelming it. It's the kind of detail that makes the dress feel designed rather than assembled. Won't go back to basic sleeves.

The deep V-neckline was my biggest concern but it actually stays put much better than I expected. The pleated panels on either side of the V create a slight stiffness that holds the neckline in position. I did use one small strip of tape right at the point of the V as insurance, but honestly it probably would have been fine without. The structure of the bodice does a lot of the work.

Wore this to a black-tie fundraiser where I fully expected to be sitting most of the night. Instead I ended up on the dance floor for three hours straight. The pleated skirt has so much volume that it moves with you completely — no tugging, no stepping on the hem, no awkward restriction. It fans out when you spin and falls right back into place. Genuinely one of the most comfortable formal dresses I've danced in.

I wanted to love this dress and the quality is clearly there — the satin, the pleating, the shoulder details are all beautifully done. But at a size 14 the side cutouts created some pulling and the fabric didn't sit flat against my midsection the way it does on the model. The waist area bunched slightly above the cutout. I think this design really favors a straighter or more narrow torso. If that's your build, you'll probably love it.

Okay so the lace-up back isn't just a design detail — it's an experience. My boyfriend helped me tie it before we left and there's something about someone slowly pulling the strings across your bare back and tying that little bow that just... set the mood for the whole evening. It's sexy without trying too hard. The criss-cross pattern against bare skin looks incredible from behind. This dress knows exactly what it's doing.

Packed this in a suitcase for a destination wedding in Mexico and was bracing myself for wrinkle disaster. The pleats bounced back almost immediately after I hung it up — accordion pleating is more resilient than I expected. There was one faint crease near the hem that hung out within about an hour. I'd recommend rolling it loosely rather than folding, but overall it travels much better than I feared.

Just a heads up for anyone wondering — you absolutely cannot wear any kind of bra with this dress. The side cutouts, the deep V, and the fully open lace-up back make it impossible. I'm a B cup and went without, which was fine, but if you're larger-chested and need support this is something to seriously consider before ordering. That said, the silhouette without a bra is stunning and the satin has enough structure in the bodice to offer a hint of shape.

Todos en la boda me preguntaron de donde era el vestido. Los volantes en los hombros son espectaculares, tienen un volumen precioso que no se cae ni se aplasta con el paso de las horas. The pleating is precise and uniform from waistband to hem, and after a full evening of wear the folds retained their shape well. The satin has adequate weight for the drape it needs to achieve. For the price point, the construction is solid. My only reservation is that the fabric could benefit from slightly more substance — it's not paper-thin, but a heavier satin would elevate the dress further. Still, a good buy.

Wore this to an August wedding in the Cotswolds. Outdoors, full sun, eight hours on my feet. The satin was genuinely comfortable against my skin the entire time — smooth, not sticky, didn't cling to my legs when it was hot. I was expecting to be miserable in a floor-length dress in summer but the fabric has this cool-to-the-touch quality that surprised me. Danced until midnight and still felt fresh. Brilliant.

Ordered my usual size M and the waist was a touch looser than I'd like — not a dealbreaker but noticeable. However the lace-up ties in the back pulled everything in snugly and created a much more tailored look. The adjustability is a genuine design feature, not decorative. It's forgiving enough to accommodate between-size bodies, which I appreciate. The pleats hung perfectly once the back was cinched. Very happy with the purchase for the charity ball.

The construction quality is lovely — the pleats are crisp, the satin has a nice hand, the invisible zipper is smooth. My issue is purely personal: the open lace-up back exposes quite a lot of skin. I'm 52 and while I appreciate the design, I felt too exposed for a rehearsal dinner with my daughter's future in-laws. A younger woman would absolutely turn heads in this. The dress itself is beautifully made and I can see why it's popular. Just know what you're getting with the back.

What struck me most is the directional contrast in the pleating. The bodice panels are pressed in narrow vertical lines that elongate the torso, and then right at the waistband they transition into the wider accordion folds of the skirt. It creates this visual rhythm that gives the dress architectural interest without relying on embellishment. The ruffled shoulders echo the fullness of the skirt pleats. Really considered design work.

So I'll be honest, the V-neckline is deeper than I anticipated and I'm a 36D so I did need to use fashion tape to keep everything secure. That's my one note. But the crossover waist? Magic. It cinched me in right at the narrowest point and smoothed everything out in a way that was incredibly flattering on my postpartum body. Felt put-together and elegant without feeling like I was stuffed into something. Really happy with it overall.

I need to talk about this color because the photos do NOT do it justice. On my screen it looked like a muted red but in person it's this deep, rich, warm wine that almost glows. Against my dark skin it was absolutely stunning — like the color was made for deeper complexions. The satin has this gorgeous warmth to it that shifts between coppery and plum depending on the light. I've never felt more beautiful at a wedding. Buy this dress.

Arrived in a proper rigid branded box which immediately set the tone. Lifted the dress out and the weight of the fabric told me everything I needed to know — this is not flimsy fast fashion satin. There's a genuine heft to it that drapes rather than clings, and the sheen catches light without looking cheap or plasticky. The wine color reads as understated luxury. Wore it to a firm gala and it photographed beautifully in every lighting condition. Exactly what I was looking for.

I wore this as maid of honor at my best friend's wedding last Saturday and I am still not over it. The second I started walking down the aisle those pleats caught the light and moved like actual liquid around my legs. I could hear people whispering. During the reception no fewer than six women came up to me asking where I got it. The wine color, the way the skirt swishes, the little peekaboo cutouts at the waist — everything came together in a way that made me feel like the most confident version of myself. I have never gotten this many compliments on a single piece of clothing in my entire life. Already thinking about what event I can wear it to next.
