   The construction and fabric quality are top-tier — the accordion pleating is precise, the satin has a lovely weight, and the ruffles are expertly finished. My one concern is the skirt lining. In bright direct sunlight there's a slight translucency where you can see the shadow of your legs through the pleats. A nude slip underneath solves it completely but I wouldn't expect to need one at this price point.

One thing to note — the satin surface does show marks easily. A tiny splash of water from my glass left a visible spot that took a good while to air dry and disappear. Just be mindful with drinks.

A couple of the bottom folds had minor compression marks but they relaxed within an hour of hanging in the hotel closet. For a fully pleated dress that's impressive travel performance. Only minor imperfection keeps it from a five.

   Quick note on color: it's more coral-salmon in person than the vibrant hot pink I was expecting from the product photos. Still a beautiful warm tone and works perfectly for a spring wedding, but I'd describe it as peachy pink rather than bubblegum. The dress itself is gorgeous.

   What struck me first was the fabric. The satin is smooth and cool to the touch, with a subtle sheen that doesn't look cheap or costume-y. It glides over the hips instead of clinging because the pleats create their own structure. Wore it for our anniversary dinner and my husband kept running his hand over the fabric — it really is that nice.

   THE SHOULDER RUFFLES. I cannot get over them. They're sculptural, almost like fabric rosettes, and they frame your shoulders and collarbone in the most flattering way. I wore this to a summer gala and lost count of how many people came up to ask where the dress was from. The ruffles alone make this dress a showstopper.

   Lovely dress. The quality is apparent and the pleated skirt is genuinely beautiful. My only note is that the V-neckline is deeper than I anticipated from the photos — I needed fashion tape to feel secure. Once that was sorted it was absolutely perfect for an outdoor garden party.

   I put this dress on for my best friend's destination wedding and genuinely gasped at my own reflection. The pleated skirt moves like liquid — every step sends the coral and pink folds swaying, catching light in a way that makes the whole dress look alive. The satin has this perfect weight where it drapes without clinging, and the lace-up back let me tighten the bodice to fit my frame exactly. I felt like a walking watercolor painting the entire night. This is the kind of dress that makes you stand a little taller.
