   Wore this to a summer wedding and was honestly nervous about managing a floor-length satin gown while wrangling a toddler. The high right-thigh slit completely saved the day. It isn't just sexy, it gave my legs total freedom so I could crouch all the way down on the grass to pick him up without feeling like the skirt was pulling or the seams were going to burst. Beautiful movement all day and surprisingly practical for an active mom!

   We chose these for our bridesmaid dresses and the draped waistline was an absolute miracle worker. It looked stunning and completely uniform on all three of us despite having totally different body types, even comfortably accommodating a baby bump for one of the girls without needing any alterations!

   I was super nervous about wearing a smooth satin dress for a daytime event because bright sunlight usually exposes every single line and bump under the fabric. The satin material is shockingly thick and opaque in person. Even standing right in the glaring direct sun on the patio for pictures, you couldn't see through it at all and it didn't cling to my undergarments. Seriously impressive quality for the price.

   The open design on the right side is honestly my favorite part! I usually avoid asymmetrical cuts because they tend to gap or bunch up in the back, but this satin laid completely flat and smooth against my skin the entire afternoon. It photographed beautifully from behind with my hair pinned half up!

   I wasn't sure how the extended trailing hem would work for an outdoor garden wedding, but it ended up being my absolute favorite detail! It gave the skirt so much beautiful, dramatic sweep as I walked around the grassy grounds all afternoon, and the satin pooled perfectly for photos without ever getting tangled in my strappy sandals.

   Putting your hands on your hips to pose for pictures really highlights the heavily ruched waistline! It creates the most amazing hourglass shape and holds you in so securely in the middle, which gave me the confidence to just stand out in the bright sun and work that high right-thigh slit all afternoon.
