   I was worried the yellow tones might wash me out since I'm blonde, but in person, the embroidery has this gorgeous sheen that actually highlights your skin tone—it photographs insanely well even in harsh venue lighting. The fit is the real winner here; I have an athletic build, and the adjustable shoulder ties saved me. I could lower the straps to fit my torso perfectly without the armholes digging in. The invisible zip at the back is a little stiff when you pull it up over the thickest part of the flower embroidery, just go slow so you don't snag the ribbon work.

I kept it because the fit everywhere else was tailored perfection—especially the open back—but factor in alteration costs if you're petite.

It has a bit of weight to it, so it hangs heavy and doesn't cling to sweat.
