On someone taller this would look stunning - the proportions just didn't work for me without significant alterations. The quality and construction are genuinely good though.

Wore this to my brother's wedding and cried my way through the ceremony and this dress still looked beautiful after. The gathered fabric and ruffles are so forgiving and the shimmer caught the afternoon light coming through the windows. One of my favourite dresses I've ever worn, full stop.

I've got a wedding and a fundraiser coming up, so I'm thinking about ways to style this twice. Gold jewellery for one and silver for the other; the sage works with both. The ruffled skirt is quite distinctive, so it won't look like a completely different outfit. I'm fine with that, it's a lovely dress.

Taking a star off because the bodice gathers do billow a tiny bit on my smaller chest, creating slight excess fabric at the bust. Still a pretty dress.

At 5'7 I still like the idea of heels with this long skirt; that feels right for the whole look. I like the little curved edges of the ruffles near the bottom. It's more of an entrance dress than my usual simple maxi, which is my only hesitation. Lovely sage though.

The sage is lovely, but I think I wanted a plainer fabric. With the shine and all the ruffles together, there's more going on than I usually choose. Pretty dress, just not quite my taste. Someone who loves a bit of shimmer would probably be much happier with it.
