The cutouts are not adjustable — they're a fixed size based on the dress size. On my body (size small, wider ribcage) they showed a bit more side skin than I expected. Not a dealbreaker but if you're modest about showing your sides, be aware. I placed a small fashion tape strip and it solved it.
