Les manches volantees sont jolies mais un peu trop romantiques pour mon style. Le reste de la robe est sublime — le plisse impeccable, la couleur douce, les decoupes laterales modernes. J'aurais prefere une epaule plus epuree, plus architecturale. C'est une question de gout personnel. La qualite de confection est bonne et le laçage dans le dos est un vrai plus pour l'ajustement.

Wore this to an outdoor wedding in Mykonos in 32-degree heat and it was surprisingly breathable. I was dreading being in a full-length dress all day but the fabric is light enough that the pleats don't trap heat the way I expected. The open back kept air circulating and the cap sleeves don't cover enough to make your arms hot. Danced for hours, sat in the sun for the ceremony, and never felt overheated. The satin finish didn't show sweat marks either which was a genuine concern.

Color is accurate to the product photos — a muted steel blue with a slight lavender undertone depending on the light. Pairs equally well with gold and silver accessories, which I tested before the event. Fabric has a satisfying weight to it without being heavy. The side cutouts are a bit much for a corporate charity dinner context but I wore a light cashmere wrap during the seated portion and removed it for the cocktail hour. Functional solution.

The cutouts at the waist are everything. They give it this modern edge that takes it from just another pretty dress to a genuine showstopper. When I caught myself in the mirror from the side the combination of the deep V, the waist cutout, and the ruffle sleeves was this perfect balance of sexy and elegant. The sleeves add enough volume up top that the exposed skin doesn't read as too much. Really thoughtful design.

I'm 5'2 and this dress is LONG. Like genuinely pooling-on-the-floor long even in heels. I had it hemmed about four inches and thankfully my tailor was able to keep the pleats intact, which I was worried about. Once altered the proportions were perfect and I got tons of compliments. Just know that if you're petite you'll need a trip to the tailor. Budget an extra $30-40 for that.

Lo indossero al matrimonio di mia sorella e sono sicura che faro un figurone. Il colore azzurro polvere e elegante senza essere banale.

My only issue is the V-neckline is noticeably deeper than it appeared in the photos. I'm a 36C and had to use fashion tape to feel secure. Would have loved the V to come up just an inch higher. But the overall silhouette, the back detail, the way the skirt moves — it's a show-stopping piece. I wore a delicate necklace to draw the eye up and it worked beautifully.

The lace-up back is genius if you're between sizes. I'm a UK 12 on top and 14 on my hips and I was dreading the fit situation. But the corset-style ties let me tighten the bodice exactly where I needed it while the pleated skirt has enough flow to skim over my lower half. I could breathe, I could eat dinner, and my waist looked incredible. If you carry your weight unevenly this dress solves the problem other formal dresses create.

The pleats caught the sea breeze and just billowed out like something from a magazine. I wore this to a destination wedding in the Caribbean and every single photo looks editorial. The way the fabric fans out when you move — you can't fake that kind of drama. The dusty blue caught the golden hour light perfectly and the ruffle sleeves framed my shoulders without restricting any movement. I didn't want to take it off after the ceremony.

Wore this to a summer wedding and was honestly nervous about managing a floor-length satin gown while wrangling a toddler. The high right-thigh slit completely saved the day. It isn't just sexy, it gave my legs total freedom so I could crouch all the way down on the grass to pick him up without feeling like the skirt was pulling or the seams were going to burst. Beautiful movement all day and surprisingly practical for an active mom!

We chose these for our bridesmaid dresses and the draped waistline was an absolute miracle worker. It looked stunning and completely uniform on all three of us despite having totally different body types, even comfortably accommodating a baby bump for one of the girls without needing any alterations!
