This dusty blue against gold accessories is a combination I didn't know I needed. I wore gold drop earrings, a wide cuff bracelet, and gold strappy heels and the whole look came together effortlessly. The dress does so much work on its own — between the ruffle sleeves, the pleats, and the back detail — that heavy accessorizing would be overkill. One or two gold pieces and you're done.

Pretty dress, well made, and the design is flattering. But here's something I didn't think about — the side cutouts and open back mean very visible tan lines if you've been in the sun recently. I had a clear swimsuit-line situation visible through the cutouts at the wedding which was a bit awkward. That's entirely on me for not planning ahead. If you're wearing this to a summer event, be mindful of your tan lines or use self-tanner to even things out. The dress itself is faultless.

Our engagement photographer literally paused the shoot to tell me this was the most photogenic dress she'd shot in years. The pleats create these perfect vertical lines that look incredible in portraits and the satin finish picks up golden hour light in this glowing way. She said the blue also contrasts beautifully against green backgrounds. If you're buying specifically for photos — engagement, anniversary, whatever — this dress was made for a camera.

One small thing to note — the invisible zipper is a little stiff near the top, right where it meets the bodice. I was nervous about snagging the pleated fabric when pulling it up. Going slowly and holding the fabric taut while zipping solved it, but it would be nice if the zipper mechanism were smoother. Once the dress is on and the lace-up back is tied, you won't touch the zipper again. The dress itself is beautiful, the cutouts are tasteful, and the back is a gorgeous detail.

Everyone at prom was in those same tight sparkly dresses and I showed up in this flowing pleated gown and felt like I was at a completely different kind of event. The dusty blue was unique — nobody else had anything close to this color. I got asked for the link probably ten times. Best prom dress decision I could have made.

Wore this on a dinner cruise with significant wind off the water. The crossover bodice stayed completely secure the entire evening — the wrap construction holds the V-neckline in place through physics alone, no tape needed. The pleated skirt billowed out dramatically behind me which looked stunning, but the neckline never once shifted or gaped. It's well engineered.

Gorgeous dress, and I truly wish it came in a deeper shade — a navy or emerald would be incredible. The soft blue is pretty but it does wash me out slightly with my olive complexion. I compensated with warm bronzer and gold accessories and it looked great in photos. The design itself is a solid 10 — the pleating, the open back, the ruffle sleeves, all of it. Just know that if you have warmer or deeper skin, you might want to think about how this particular blue works with your undertone.

The color is exactly what you see on your screen. Soft dusty blue with a subtle sheen, not too bright, not too grey. I calibrated my laptop display before ordering because I was anxious about it and honestly it was unnecessary — the listing photos are accurate. Arrived in beautiful condition.

Well-constructed dress. Pleats are even and consistent from waist to hem, all seams are clean, invisible zipper operates smoothly. The fabric is synthetic but has a convincing satin finish that reads as more expensive than it is. For this price point it delivers good value — you'd pay significantly more from a department store brand for comparable construction. My only note is the lining is on the thinner side, which is fine for evening but could be slightly sheer in direct bright sunlight.

Sat through a three-hour charity dinner and auction in this dress and remained genuinely comfortable the entire time. The pleats fan out beautifully when you sit and don't bunch or crease under the table. The bodice stays in place when you lean forward. I didn't adjust it once the whole night. For a formal dress with this much visual drama it's remarkably comfortable and low-maintenance once you have it on.

The ruffle sleeves are MUCH bigger in person than they look in the product photos. They're full sculptural ruffles that sit up from the shoulder — not subtle at all. Personally I love the drama and they balance out the deep neckline really well. But if you were expecting delicate little flutter sleeves based on the photos you might be surprised. Try it before you decide.

Wearing this as my wedding dress for our small second-marriage ceremony on the beach. The dusty blue feels romantic without the formality of white, and the lace-up back and ruffle sleeves give it enough bridal energy that it still feels like a moment. My fiance teared up when he saw me in it. At a fraction of the cost of a traditional gown this was the best decision I made for the wedding.

Was nervous about the lace-up back because I live alone and figured I'd need someone to tie it. But the strings are long enough that I could reach behind and do it myself in the mirror. Took about three tries to get the tension even but it's completely doable solo. The criss-cross pattern doesn't have to be perfect to look good — it has an intentionally organic look.
