The combination of the structured ruffles on the shoulders and the sweeping pleated skirt makes you feel like you're wearing something truly special. The bodice stayed in place the whole time thanks to the lace-up back keeping everything secure. A true party dress that actually lets you party.

But these cut-outs sit high on the waist right at the narrowest point above the hip and they actually create the illusion of a longer torso. I felt sexy and put together at the same time. My husband booked a second dinner just so I could wear it again.

The SKIRT. When I tell you the volume on this thing is insane. It's like walking in a cloud of pink satin. The pleats fan out at the bottom and the hem pools on the floor in the most dramatic way. I felt like I was making an entrance every time I walked through a doorway. This dress has main character energy for real.

What surprised me most is how different this dress looks depending on the light. Indoors it reads more pastel pink with hints of coral. In direct sunlight the orange tones come alive and the whole thing shifts to a warmer palette. It's genuinely like wearing two different dresses. Wore it to an indoor-outdoor wedding and got compliments in both settings.

The satin has real weight to it. It's not that thin slippery fabric you sometimes get with pleated dresses — this has body and structure. The pleats hold their crisp lines and the skirt doesn't collapse when you stand still. It hangs in these beautiful defined folds. Very satisfying quality.

We did engagement photos at golden hour and our photographer kept commenting on how the pleated satin caught the warm light. In every frame the coral and pink tones shifted slightly so no two photos looked the same. The dress basically styled itself. Worth every cent for that alone.
