I kept running my hands over the pleats because the texture is so satisfying. And the way the fabric falls from the waist? Like water. We took pictures before our formal and in every single one the pleated skirt is catching light differently - sometimes it looks almost pink, sometimes deep mauve, sometimes it has this golden undertone. They create this cascading waterfall effect where the fabric falls in perfect vertical lines but also sways and ripples with each step. The satin is light enough to respond to every movement but heavy enough that it doesn't fly up or cling to your legs. It just drapes. Beautifully.
