Size 12 and this dress made my curves look absolutely insane. The satin skims without squeezing and the ruching adds dimension in all the right places. If you have hips, this dress was made for you.

The hem could be a touch cleaner, I noticed a tiny loose thread at the side seam near the slit. Nothing that can't be snipped. The drape of the skirt more than makes up for it but noting for quality-conscious buyers.

Three complete strangers came up to me at the bar asking where this dress was from. Three. I've never had that happen with any piece of clothing in my life.

Wore this to a six-hour wedding. Ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing. Sat, stood, danced, hugged everyone. Not a single crease in the satin when I got home. That never happens.

Heads up the color is slightly more purple-toned burgundy than the deep wine it looks like on my screen. It's still stunning but if you're expecting a true dark red, manage your expectations. I kept it because it's still gorgeous.

I've owned satin dresses from brands that charge three times this price. The seams on this are clean, the ruching is properly constructed with internal structure rather than just gathered, and the slit is finished neatly. Impressed by the build quality.

Wore this on a first date at a candlelit restaurant and the burgundy deepened to almost black cherry in the low light. He literally couldn't form sentences. This color does THINGS.

Il tessuto ha un buon peso, non e' cartaceo come spesso accade con il satin economico. Non e' seta, ovviamente, ma la mano e' piacevole e la caduta e' corretta. Per il prezzo, ottimo rapporto qualita'-prezzo.
