Two coworkers at the company gala asked if it was designer. It's not. But the satin weight and the burgundy depth read so expensive that nobody would ever guess the actual price.

Turned the dress inside out to check the seams and they're all finished, not raw-edge. French seams on the side panels. At this price point that's genuinely surprising craftsmanship.

Wore this to Diwali and the burgundy with gold bangles and jhumkas was perfection. This color crosses over into South Asian festive dressing effortlessly.

Satin dresses and summer don't mix. I wore this in August and was uncomfortable within an hour. This is a fall/winter dress. The fabric doesn't breathe. Gorgeous in cooler months though, just don't make my mistake.

Measured myself and compared to the size chart. Bust was within a quarter inch, waist within half an inch. Ordered accordingly and the fit was spot on. Size chart is reliable.

Nothing about this dress is trendy and that's the highest compliment I can give. This is a classic silhouette that will be in your closet for years. Thin straps, clean neckline, thigh slit — these don't go out of style.

I go from 12-hour shifts straight to events sometimes. Changed into this in the car in about 90 seconds and walked in looking put together. Only complaint is the invisible zipper is a little stiff.
