The side invisible zipper is hidden well under the pleating but the pull tab is minuscule. I actually used a small paperclip looped through it to get better grip. Not a design flaw, more of a tip for anyone with short nails.

We did an outdoor fall wedding on grass and the hem did pick up some dust and a few tiny grass stains by the end of the night. Spot cleaned it the next day with no issue and no damage to the satin. Just maybe not the dress for a muddy field.
