The shoulder ruffles caught the overhead light and I guess the whole entrance just looked dramatic enough to warrant applause from complete strangers. I have never in my life had that experience and I am still buzzing about it three days later. Those rosette ruffles are not just a detail, they are an EVENT.

Actually teared up. The wine satin hugged my waist through the crossover wrap and then those pleats just cascaded down and the shoulder ruffles framed my face and I looked at myself through his eyes and understood exactly why. I'm wearing white at the wedding but this wine dress is the one I'll remember forever.
