However the combination of the deep V-neckline, exposed sides, and completely open back was too revealing for the bat mitzvah I'd planned to wear it to. It would be perfect for a girls' trip or date night where more skin is welcome. Just wasn't right for my occasion.

The dress itself is beautifully constructed — the pleating, the ruffles, the satin quality are all excellent. But the color just wasn't flattering on my complexion. If you have warm or olive undertones this would look incredible. For cool-toned fair skin I'd wait for a different colorway.

But between the deep V-neckline, the side cut-outs, and the open back, there's a lot of skin on display. It was too much for my corporate networking gala.
