I suspect the polyester fabric has some inherent stain resistance, or possibly a light coating. I obviously wouldn't test this intentionally, but it's reassuring to know the cream fabric isn't as fragile as it looks. Accidents happen at events — this fabric forgives.

We took photos at golden hour and the gold applique literally looked like it was ON FIRE. The raised petals caught every ray of Hawaiian sun and reflected it back in warm gold. The cream fabric turned this soft peachy tone in the sunset. I'm not being dramatic when I say the dress photographs better than most wedding gowns.
