I was super nervous about wearing a smooth satin dress for a daytime event because bright sunlight usually exposes every single line and bump under the fabric. The satin material is shockingly thick and opaque in person. Even standing right in the glaring direct sun on the patio for pictures, you couldn't see through it at all and it didn't cling to my undergarments. Seriously impressive quality for the price.

It gave the skirt so much beautiful, dramatic sweep as I walked around the grassy grounds all afternoon, and the satin pooled perfectly for photos without ever getting tangled in my strappy sandals.
