I braced for that sticky clingy feeling you get when synthetic fabric sits directly on warm skin but the lining creates a smooth buffer layer between body and stretch fabric. The dress glides on rather than grabbing. Even after hours of wear in a warm room, no stickiness. That lining is doing serious work.
